1. Services Provided

Sunset Landscaping provides lawn and garden care, snow and ice removal, professional planting and maintenance, and related landscaping services for residential properties. Service details, pricing, and scheduling will be confirmed through written estimates or service agreements.

2. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Final pricing may vary if project scope changes or unforeseen conditions are discovered. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding with additional work.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For recurring services, payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. Late payments may incur fees and suspension of services. We reserve the right to apply a processing fee to credit card payments where permitted by law.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

We will schedule services at mutually agreed-upon times. For weather-dependent services like snow removal, scheduling may vary based on conditions. Service cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

5. Property Access

You grant Sunset Landscaping permission to access your property to perform the agreed services. You are responsible for ensuring safe access, identifying underground utilities, sprinkler systems, and any property features requiring special care.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate property information, mark sensitive areas, remove obstacles that may interfere with services, and secure pets during service visits. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or homeowner association approvals.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sunset Landscaping will perform services with professional care and expertise. We are not liable for pre-existing property conditions, damage to unmarked underground systems, plant mortality due to factors beyond our control, or delays caused by weather or circumstances outside our control. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

8. Warranties

We guarantee our workmanship. Plant warranties are subject to proper care and watering by the customer and may vary by plant type. Warranty claims must be reported within the specified timeframes outlined in the service agreement.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify services, pricing, or these terms with 30 days’ notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate ongoing service agreements with written notice as specified in the service contract. You remain responsible for payment of services rendered prior to termination.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be handled according to the laws of Maryland, United States.
